About
the Conference
The Joint International Conference on Multibody System Dynamics,
IMSD, is organized every other spring with the first IMSD which was
held in 2010 at Lappeenranta, Finland,

Past Conferences. The
forthcomming second IMSD will take place at the University
of Stuttgart, Germany in 2012.
The purpose of the Conference is to serve as a meeting
point for the international
multibody community to provide an opportunity to
exchange high-level, current information on the theory and
applications of multibody systems. The Conference is co-sponsored
by ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers), IFToMM
(International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and
Machine Science), IUTAM (International Union of Theoretical and
Applied Mechanics), KSME (Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers)
and JSME (Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers).
